MUZAFFARABAD, Feb 14: Three people were injured in two different areas of Azad Kashmir on Thursday as Indian troops shelled from across the Line of Control, officials said.

A man was injured after an a passenger bus came under attack of Indian forces at about 8:30am near the village of Seemari in Neelum Valley, deputy commissioner of Muzaffarabad told Dawn.

Farooq was admitted to a military hospital in the area, he added. Two more people were wounded in the southern Poonch district, when Indian troops fired mortars and machineguns at 10.30am, deputy commissioner told Dawn by telephone.

Mohammad Latif, 57, and Ghazanfar Sadiq, 6, were injured after being hit by splinters of a shell in Potha village.
