Visa hurdle

Published November 2, 2006

KARACHI, Nov 1: The trade relations with Taiwan are directly linked with the visa issue that will have to be resolved on perpetual basis. This was pointed out by overseas Pakistani businessmen in Taiwan during a dinner meeting in Taipei arranged by Hatmi Style and Craft managing director Syed Navaid Hatmi in the honour of Pakistani business delegation headed by FPCCI former president Tariq Sayeed, says a FPCCI press release issued here on Wednesday.

Mr Hatmi, who was carrying business in Taiwan for last three decades, said that Taiwan was a potential market with which trade could be augmented to the optimal level provided Pakistani businessmen were given visa facility from their own country. —APP
