Musharraf greets Brazilian president

ISLAMABAD, Oct 31: President Gen Pervez Musharraf on Tuesday felicitated Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva on his re-election, expressing the hope that during his second term cooperative relations between the two countries would further strengthen.

“We particularly appreciate your leadership at the international level on issues like eradication of poverty and hunger as well as promotion of South-South cooperation,” President Gen Musharraf said in a message to Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.—Q.A.
