KARACHI: Water supply suspension

Published November 1, 2006

KARACHI, Oct 31: An spokesman for Karachi Water and Sewerage Board said on Tuesday that due to replacement of 54-inch diameter water supply line at Dr Ziauddin Ahmed Road, another water supply line of 15-inch diameter was being changed, which would cause a temporary suspension in water supply to some city areas.

The spokesman said on Wednesday water supply to Naval Officers Residence-1 (NOR-1), Keamari, Bhutta Village, Mauripur, Dockyard, West Wharf and other nearby areas would remain suspended.

The routine water supply to these areas would resume on the night between Wednesday and Thursday.—PPI
