LAHORE, Oct 30: Eighteen probables will attend the national cricket training camp starting here from Nov 3 to finalise Pakistan team for the forthcoming home series against West Indies.

The probables will be shortlisted to 15 by the national selection committee during the training camp, for the three-Test series.

West Indies are scheduled to arrive here on Nov 6, directly from India after participating in the Champions Trophy where they have qualified for the semi-finals.

Meanwhile, Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq said the series against West Indies is going be tough and the boys have to do their best to achieve positive results.

“The boys should forget the bad performance in the Champions Trophy and now they should prepare themselves for another big task,” he said.

He said Pakistan's dismal performance against South Africa in the Champions Trophy was a big disappointment.

Pakistan were bundled out against the Proteas for 89, while chasing a reachable target of 214 in the crunch match.

Inzamam, who missed the ICC event because of a four-match ban, said that the situation was also alarming for the Asian teams as none could qualify for the semi-final stage of the mega event.
