ISLAMABAD, Oct 27: At least one officer of Pakistan army posted at Siachen glacier was killed as several troops were hit by an avalanche.
Family sources said Captain Saeed Atta Malik, in his early 30s was the latest victim of extremely harsh weather at the Siachen where Pakistani troops have remained locked in a bitter conflict with the Indian side, which had occupied part of the glacier back in the 1980s.
