KARACHI, Oct 23: An employee of an estate agency was shot dead by a property dealer in Defence on Monday. Police said that the incident occurred in the office of Property Point in DHA Phase-I in B Market area where Amir Mansoor Tony came and after an altercation with the employee of the agency, Shahzed shot him before fleeing.
Police said that Shahzed was rushed to Jinnah Hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.
INJURED: Six persons, including three children, suffered burns in a fire that broke out due to a gas cylinder explosion in a house in Delhi Colony on Monday.
Area people put out the fire before the arrival of the fire brigade.
The injured were rushed to the Burns Ward of the Civil Hospital where they were admitted for treatment.
ARRESTED: Police on Monday arrested a man Mohammad Tahir involved in extortion while receiving cash from a factory owner in Site. He was an employee at a textile factory some six months back, and was sacked.
