Smeda assures support to SMILE

KARACHI, Oct 23: The Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority (Smeda) has reiterated its assurance to extend full support to Small and Medium Industrial Leasing Estates (SMILE) in making the venture of 500 acres industrial estate at Deh Gaggar successful.

Smeda provincial chief Muslim Raza while assuring the support to SMILE said in a letter to the board of directors that SMEs were important part of our economy and it was the objective and responsibility of Smeda to do everything possible to secure their future in the country.

SMILE provides opportunities to both the organisations and has many elements of success for SMEs. Mr Raza appreciated the role of provincial government for allocating 500 acres land to Union of Small and Medium Enterprises (Unisame).

In the meanwhile, Smeda has expressed its willingness to

join hands with Nespak in development of the 500 acres industrial estate for SMEs in Deh Gaggar.
