Unicef projects in NWFP reviewed

MARDAN, Oct 22: A mid-term review meeting of the Unicef-funded health project in NWFP was held here on Sunday. Unicef’s provincial chief Dr Abdul Jamil, EDO Health Dr Rahim and representatives of Unicef partners presented their reports on the project, mother and child health and immunization plus.

Mardan Nazim Himayatullah appreciated the Unicef role in improving the healthcare system in the NWFP with particular reference to Mardan where a number of projects had been initiated.

The participants discussed the presentations of different partner organisations and presented recommendations for future planning.
