NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Oct 16: The residents of Lakha Road town observed a shutter-down strike on Monday in protest against the Hyderabad Electric Supply Company for subjecting them to suffer 12-hour long unannounced load-shedding.

The residents led by Akbar, Shahnawaz Mari and Mujahid, staged a rally which marched to the Mehrabpur Hesco office raising slogans against the SDO and line superintendent. As soon as the Hesco officials saw the angry protesters they fled their office.
