KARACHI, Oct 13: Seven ships, including a loader to load 13,000 tons of rice, are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, PAC Antlia, Lauren, Calvin P. Titus, Tower Bridge, to unload and load containers and Lauren and Bow De Silver, with tankers, were berthed after the departures or seven.

The ships, which departed included Corin Thaikos, Y.M. Fortune, PAC Antlia, Global progress, Al-Mhkhtarah, Haje Khereh and Lauren, while Bow de Silver, Pacific Ace, Clavin P. Titus, Pacific Jade and Maersk Arkansas are due to sail out on Saturday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was modest where a total tonnage of 56,693 tons comprising 8,372 tons of export cargo and 48,321 tons of import cargo was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Al-Marwah, with chemicals, Southern Atlas, with lube base oil, Cape Santiago, Mar Calabria, with containers, Ai Fanourios, with coal, Le He, with general cargo and Pearl, to load 13,000 tons of rice.
