WAH CANTT, Oct 11: Interior Minster Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao has said that the Indian government had been unable to prove its allegations about Pakistan’s involvement in the Mumbai train blasts.

He was talking to reporters here after an Iftar-dinner hosted by former NWFP legislator Syed Baidar Hussein Shah here on Tuesday.

Pakistan, he said, was a peaceful country, adding that it would never think about committing such acts. Terming Indian government’s allegations baseless, he pointed out that some of India’s internal elements were involved in these acts.

The minister said that there were several separatist organizations active in various Indian states who could be involved in these blasts. “We have got nothing to do with the case.”—APP
