KARACHI, Oct 11: As many as 70 mobiles phones and 26 vehicles were taken away by bandits on Wednesday.

Police said 25 cell phones were snatched at gunpoint and 41 mobile phones were stolen while four sets were missing.

Four cars were snatched and eight were stolen. Five motorcycles were snatched at gunpoint and nine two-wheelers were stolen. Two cars were stolen from outside the PECHS Foundation College on Wednesday.

Hamza Farooq told Dawn to inform that his wife, a faculty member of the college, had parked her car outside the college, and when she returned, the car was stolen.

Similarly, another Charade car was also stolen in a similar manner outside the college, he added.
