TANK: 36 booked for power theft

TANK, Oct 11: The Peshawar Electrict Supply Corporation (Pesco) during its ongoing operation against power theft registered 36 cases in various areas for obtaining power through illegal means.

A spokesman for Pesco said on Wednesday that special teams had been constituted which raided different parts of the district.

He said that a large number of people had been caught stealing power. He said power-stealers adopt ed various methods, meter tampering, extending direct hooks or carrying out neutral breaking system.—APP
