ISLAMABAD, Oct 10: Interior Minister Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao has said the overall law and order situation in Balochistan is satisfactory.

Talking to media, he said a few days back a number of Bugti’s Farrari commanders and their companions had surrendered to the government which was a testimony of the fact that “things are getting back to normal.”

He said the government would not compromise on its writ. He reiterated the government’s commitment to work for development of the province and its people.

“A number of projects are under-way in Balochistan which will ensure employment opportunities to Baloch youths and improve their living standard,” he added.—APP
