KARACHI, Oct 7: Three ships carrying palm oil and containers are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Sunday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, CMA CGM Victota, Orient Independence, Eric G. Gibson, to unload and load containers, Lalazar to offload crude oil and Gagasan Melaka, to offload palm oil were berthed.

Four vessels, Iran Kordestan, Patton-1, Swat and Olympics departed on Saturday, while Manhattan Princess, Gagasan Melaka, ,Eric G. Gibson, Yang Jiang He and Orient Independence are due to sail out on Sunday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 93,825 tons comprising 11,583 tons of export cargo and 82,242 tons of import tonnage was handled.The following ships are due on Sunday: Pacific Jade with 8,000 tons of palm oil, Oel Victory and Corin Thaikos with containers.

The following vessels are due on Monday: Pacific Ace with 14,000 tons of palm oil, Shalamar with 65,000 tons of crude oil and Al-Mukhtarah with 55,000 tons of high-speed oil.
