KARACHI, Oct 3: Pakistan People’s Party Sindh President Syed Qaim Ali Shah has demanded withdrawal of all the false and fabricated cases against PSF leader Junaid Bulund and demanded his immediate release.

In a statement, Syed Qaim Ali Shah said the Sindh government and its coalition partners were trying to change loyalties of political workers through pressure and torture to harm the struggle for restoration of democracy in the country.

The PPP leader said Junaid Bulund was braving jails and torture since last three years and regime implicated him in another case when he is released. He condemned the shifting of Junaid Bulund from Mirpurkhas Jail to Hyderabad Central Jail and added that the people of Sindh were being punished for their love and support for Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto.

He said there seems no government as the current set-up in Sindh was being run through agencies. He said political workers were being targeted and punished while those involved in corruption were being inducted as ministers.

Syed Qaim Ali Shah was astonished to the fact that patriotic, democratic and those talking for the rights of people and the greater national interests were being implicated and arrested through cases of treason, anti-state activities.
