Six injured in clash among councillors

DADU, Feb 13: Six councillors were injured in a clash between two groups of councillors in union council-III of Kotri over an old enmity at Deh Sono Lohar on Wednesday.

Pistols, iron rods, clubs and bricks were used in the clash.

Akram, Anwar and Ashraf received bullet injuries while Yaqoob, Javed and Ishaque were slightly injured slightly with iron rods.

The injured were admitted to the taluka hospital, Kotri, where the condition of three councillors, Ashraf, Anwar and Akram, was said to be serious. The three others were discharged after treatment.

The Kotri police on the complaint of injured councillor Ashraf registered an FIR against six persons including four councillors of UC-III, Kotri.
