22 die in accident near Moro

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Sept 28: Twenty-two people, six of them children and four women, were killed and 10 others injured in a head-on collision between a truck and a passenger van near the Sabeel stop on the Dadu-Moro road on Thursday.

The passenger van was going to Dadu from Sukkur while the truck was on its way to Moro from Dadu.

People from nearby villages and policemen from Moro and Korai reached the place of the tragedy and extricated victims from a badly dented van.

The bodies and the injured were taken to the Moro taluka hospital in police vans and Edhi ambulances.
