KARACHI: Four-year BS at KU

KARACHI, Sept 28: The University of Karachi’s Academic Council in its meeting with Vice-Chancellor Prof Pirzada Qasim Raza Siddiqi in the chair, on Thursday decided that a BS four-year programme would be started at the varsity from the next academic session.

The admissions to bachelors’ programmes would start from Nov 20 to 29 while for masters’ programmes; admissions would start from Oct 30 to Nov 8.

It may be mentioned that the students have been facilitated to get their BSc, BA, BCom (pass) degree after completion of two years while on completion of three-years, the candidates will be given honours degree however BS degree would be awarded on completion of four years and after achieving this they would be eligible for grade-17 or equivalent post.—PPI
