KARACHI, Sept 28: Four vessels carrying, containers, coal and steel cargo are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Fortune Spirit, to offload fertiliser, Stolt Avenir, to offload chemicals, Hyundai Stride, Y.M. Moon, Kota Mesra, to offload and load containers, were berthed after the departure of two.

Iran Hesabi and APL Jeddah departed on Thursday, while Botany Trade Wind, Hyubndai Stride, Kota Mesra, Shina, Y.M. Moon and Stolt Avenir are due to sail out on Friday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 89,852 tons comprising 8,530 tons of export cargo and 81,322 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Friday: Oel Aishwarya, Maerks Arkansas, with containers, Prex, with 38,400 tons of coal and Dong Shun Ocean, with steel.
