Javed Rahim elected new BCCI president

QUETTA, Sept 26: Javed Rahim Paracha of Progressive Business Group was elected unopposed president of Balochistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) for the year 2006-07 here on Tuesday.

Haji Rafo Gul and Shamim Ahmed Khan were also elected unopposed senior vice-president and vice-president respectively.

The elected executive committee members are: Javed Rahim Paracha, Essa Khan, Sardar Mohammad Anwar Jaffar Shiekh, Haji Ataullah, Chaudhary Kamran Ajmal, Vijay Kumar, Abdul Qadir Agha and Mohammad Nasim Davi.

Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Senior Vice-President Sardar Mohammad Ali Jogezai congratulated the new office- bearers of the Balochistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and expressed the hope that they would work for the interest of business community of Balochistan.
