AKD XI win in KG Twenty20

KARACHI, Sept 25: Debutants AKD XI made a perfect start in 21st Karachi Gymkhana AKD Twenty20 Ramazan Cup Cricket Championship by defeating PIA Academy by four wickets at KG Ground on Monday.

Imran Javed blasted an unbeaten 44 off 30 balls with three fours and a huge six to grab the Man-of-the-Match award.

Imran with Sharjeel Ashraf (32) added 70 for the sixth wicket.

Earlier, PIA Academy were restricted to 148 for eight.
