KHAIRPUR, Sept 23: The president of Pakistan People’s Party, Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, said that nobody knew exactly how Nawab Akbar Bugti was killed as the incident had left dozens of questions unanswered.
Talking to reporters in Sobhodero on Saturday after offering condolences to the relatives of late Haji Mohammad Tahir Khuhro, nazim of union council Pir Hayat Shah, he said that the present government had completely failed.
The government’s policies were compelling jobless youth to commit suicide to avoid hunger, inflation, unemployment and poverty.
He dismissed reports of internal differences in the party and said that the party was getting stronger by the day.
JSQM PROTEST: The activists of Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) staged processions in Setharja, Sobhodero and Khairpur on Saturday to protest against the arrest and detection of JSQM workers. In Setharja, Rahim Sehto, Mithal Shar and Lalan Veesar led the procession, which ended in a demonstration.
The protesters said that the authorities, instead of nabbing criminals and dacoits, were busy arresting the workers of JSQM and other political parties.
