PPP agenda

LAHORE, Sept 21: Pakistan People’s Party Lahore secretary-general MPA Samiullah Khan has said that the opposition will raise the issues of Transparency International report, Balochistan situation and the growing lawlessness in the province in the next session of the provincial assembly.

In a statement issued here on Thursday, he said discussion on transparency’s report was necessary because the Punjab government had been described as the most corrupt among the provincial governments in the country in it.

Law and order required to be discussed because the government was using the administrative machinery only for the protection of land, sugar and commission mafias and left the general public at the mercy of `criminals.’
