LAHORE, Sept 19: NWFP will host the next Inter-provincial games, which was announced during the closing ceremony of the 2nd edition held at the Punjab Stadium on Monday night.
The flag of the games was handed over to the NWFP Olympic Association president Aaqil Shah during the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Saqib Nawaz and Madeeha Latif, both from Punjab, were declared fastest man and woman athletes of the three-day gala.
Punjab obtained 4347 points by claiming 109 gold, 66 silver, 36 bronze medals. NWFP scored 2403 points with 23 gold, 45 silver and and 54 bronze medals.
