LAKKI MARWAT, Sept 19: Several teachers were found absent from duty when the district officer of schools and literacy department paid surprise visit to some educational institutions in the city on Tuesday.
The district officer went to several boys and girls schools where a number of teachers were absent while several others were found gossiping in staff room. The official expressed displeasure over the absence and lack of interest on the part of teachers and directed the deputy district officer to initiate action against the missing staff.
