HYDERABAD, Sept 18: Activists of the Pakistan People’s Party-SB on Monday evening lit earthen lamps with their blood to mark the 52nd birth anniversary of the chief of their party, Mir Murtaza Bhutto, outside the local press club.

Speaking on the occasion, PPP-SB leaders said that they warned that if the killers of Mir Murtaza Bhutto were not punished, they would resort to extreme measures.

They said that they had been protesting peacefully to call upon authorities to award exemplary punishment to the murderers.

MIRPURKHAS: The 52nd birth anniversary of Mir Murtaza Bhutto was celebrated by the Sindh People’s Youths Organization and Sindh People’s Students Federation-SB.

A cake was cut by local office-bearers including Malik Munawar, Shahid Panhwar, Faisal Arain and Ajmal Awan.

Speaking on the occasion, the SPYO leaders said that late Mir Murtaza Bhutto and his companions were killed as they had raised voice for the rights of the oppressed masses and struggled for restoration of democracy.

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE: Activists of the PPP-SB celebrated the 52nd birthday of Mir Murtaza Bhutto in Naushahro Feroze and Kandiaro.

The president of PPP-SB Sukkur division, Dr Imdad, district president, Zafar Khoso, and Faqir Gopang called for speeding up the trial of Murtaza Bhutto murder case.

DADU: The 52nd birth anniversary of Mir Murtaza Bhutto was celebrated here on Monday.
