Swindler deprives passenger of cash

SAHIWAL, Sept 17: A passenger of Quetta Express was looted after he was served some drugged meal by a swindler here on Saturday night. He was admitted to the local DHQ Hospital in an unconscious state. After regaining his conscious, the passenger disclosed his name as Riaz Ahmed, a resident of Lahore. He said that the swindler deprived him of Rs10,000 in cash. His condition was still stated to be serious.

LOOTED: Thieves took away cash and valuables worth Rs673,000 besides a motorcycle and a car in five different strikes here on Saturday night.

Thieves entered the house of Parveen in Sharif Colony and disappeared after collecting cash and ornaments valuing Rs82,000.

Burglars took away valuables worth Rs86,000 from the house of Ghulam Hussain in Railway Colony.

In Chak 45/12-L, the thieves took away cash and valuables worth Rs45,000 from the house of Muhammad Nawaz.

Thieves took away a motorcycle of Riaz Ahmed in Kauray Shah.

Imtiaz Ali, who parked his car (LHR-9993) outside a local hotel, found his vehicle missing after he came out after having a lunch there.

Police have registered separate cases.
