Post office robbed

KHOI RATA, Sept 17: In a daylight robbery, Rs20 million worth of defence saving certificates (DSCs) and postal orders were looted from the Khoi Rata post office.

The staff of the post office had been to a mosque to offer prayers at the time of the robbery.

The robbers broke the locks of the post office doors.

Mirpur Divisional Superintendent Muhammad Nawaz, Khoi Rata Assistant Superintendent Mohammed Zia have reached Khoi Rata and launched a probe.—Online
