KARACHI, Sept 17: Bandits took away 16 vehicles and 41 mobile phones from various parts of the city on Sunday. Police sources said that one car was snatched at gunpoint, while six were reported stolen.

Similarly, three motorcycles were taken away at gunpoint and six were reported stolen from different parts of the city.

At least 14 cellphones were reported on Sunday to have been snatched at gunpoint and 24 cellphones were reported stolen while three sets were posted as missing, police sources said.

Two armed men snatched a Honda City (AKD-608) at gunpoint from Mr Shahzad at Tipu Sultan Road. They also took away his cellphone, the incident occurred in broad day light at around 3pm.—Staff Reporter
