SAHIWAL, Sept 16: Unscheduled electricity shutdown made the lives of people uncomfortable on Saturday.

The supply remained suspended from 6am to 12 noon in Jinnah Street, Saddar Bazaar, Pakpattan Bazaar, Railway Road, Farid Town, Scheme 2 and 3, district courts, old civil lines, police lines, Central Jail, Jahaz Ground, and adjoining rural areas.

The deputy manager (operations) told this correspondent that there was a technical fault in the grid station.

Sahiwal circle manager (operations) Abdul Ghafoor Cheema has ordered an inquiry into the power outage.
