Six farmers faint during pest spray

GUJRANWALA, Sept 12: About half a dozen farmers fainted during spray of pesticides at their paddy crops at Rakh Kikeranwali village here on Tuesday.

Reports said Shafique, Ashraf, Adnan, Javed, Iqbal etc, were spraying pesticides by machines at their crops. The machines were leaking the pesticide as a result of which they fainted. They were rushed to DHQ hospital where their condition was stated out of danger. — Correspondent
