KARACHI, Sept 12: Sindh IGP Jahangir Mirza on Tuesday directed the Capital City Police Officer to ensure fool-proof security arrangements for citizens and foreign visitors of the Karachi Electronics and Electrical Fair, scheduled for Sept 14-16 at Expo Centre.

He said that close contact should be ensured between police officials deputed for the security of the exhibition and other law enforcing agencies besides increasing patrolling and snap checking in sensitive areas of the metropolis.

Police chief directed to depute policemen in civvies and install electronic sweeping system at the Expo Centre and hotels where foreigners would stay.—PPI
