KARACHI: Autopsy of FC man conducted

KARACHI, Sept 12: The body of an official of the Frontier Constabulary who had suffered a bullet wound was brought to Jinnah Hospital on Tuesday.

Hospital sources said that body of the FC official, Ibrahim, 30, was brought from the PN Shifa where he was reportedly under treatment.

An official of the Saddar police said the deceased was admitted to PN Shifa on Sept 9 with a bullet wound. However, he succumbed to his wound during treatment.

INJURED: A young motorcyclist was severely injured in an incident late Monday night.

Philip Mathews, 29, was going on his Vespa, when a speeding UTS bus (JB-2028) knocked him down on Sharea Faisal. Mathews fell unconscious and was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for treatment. His vehicle was badly damaged.

WOUNDED: Two men were wounded in a motorcycle snatching bid in Lyari.

Mohammad Ashfaq and Mohammad Aslam were shot at by armed men who were demanding their motorcycle.

Police said that suspects managed to flee and the injured were taken to the Civil Hospital.
