Anti-polio campaign

PESHAWAR, Sept 11: A three-day anti-polio campaign was launched in Kohat district on Monday. During the campaign, about 166,225 children up to the age of five would be vaccinated against the crippling disease.

District Coordination Officer Kohat Arshad Majeed Mohmand formally launched the campaign at the District Headquarters Hospital Kohat by administering polio drops and vitamin A vaccine to a child.

Executive District Officer (Health) Dr Adil Marjan, Dr Bilqis Khattak and other concerned officials of the health department were present on the occasion.

The official appealed to the people to cooperate.—APP
