KARACHI, Sept 11: Bandits took away at least 22 vehicles and 50 cell phones on Monday in different parts of the city.

Police sources said a single car was snatched at gunpoint and 10 were stolen on Monday.

Similarly, four motorcycles were snatched and even were reported stolen n different parts of the city.

Sources said at least 18 people were deprived of their cellphones at gunpoint and 27 cell phones were stolen while five cellphones were reported missing on Monday.

Meanwhile, the Anti-Car Lifting Cell conducted raids and recovered 21vehicles, including seven cars and 14 motorcycles, during the last 48 hours in different part of the city, adds PPI.

The registration numbers of the recovered cars are: M-6608 (Nissan Sunny), PS PIB Colony, JM-0062 (Datsun 120Y), PS Darakhshan, AAZ-576 (Suzuki Mehran), PS PIB Colony, AEX-058 (Suzuki Alto), PS Gulshan Iqbal, ABF-920 (Suzuki Mehran), PS Ferozabad, T-7065 (Suzuki Mehran) PS Gulbarg, and K-5673 (Suzuk Khyber) police post Hyderi Market.

The registration numbers of the recovered motorcycles are: KBP-7706 PS Aziz Bhatti, KCB-4793 PS Jamsheed Quarters, HDK-2344 PS Gulbarg, LAA-7853 PS Sachal, MNR-6416 PS Jacson, VRF-3856 PS New Town, KAE-3727 PS Korangi, QAE-3140 PS Korangi, D-29477 ((Rickshaw) PS Pakistan Bazar, BD-1732 PS Risala, MNR-3951 PSKorangi Industrial Area, AJK-9280 PS Shahrah-e-Faisal, KBD-1014 PS Jamsheed Quarter and MLL-6643 PS Shah Faisal Colony.
