PESHAWAR, Sept 11: A ceremony was held at the Government Degree College, Gul Abad, Lower Dir district, on Monday for students who secured positions in intermediate examinations of 2006.

College principal Prof Aurangzeb presided over the function. Students and the college staff attended the programme.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof Aurangzeb congratulated teachers and students on their success. He said that due to hard work and dedication, the college students had got positions in the examinations.

He particularly praised pre-medical group students Tariq Raheen, Wajid and Basit and pre-engineering group’s Muqeemullah for their good performance in the examinations.

He urged students to focus their energies on education and assured them of cooperation on behalf of the college staff.—APP
