KARACHI, Sept 10: The celebrations to mark the 122nd Foundation Day of Sindh Madressatul Islam would commence from Tuesday and continue till Sept 15.

Syed Mustafa Kamal, City Nazim, Karachi would be the chief guest at the opening session on Tuesday at 12noon. Prominent intellectuals, writers, academicians and old students of Sindh Madressah will be the guests of honour.

Declamation contests and Na'at and Qirat competitions among the students of Sindh Madressah would be held on Sept 13 and 14 at the auditorium of Sindh Madressah. During this the students would also pay tribute to Khan Bahadur Hassanally Effendi, the founder of the Sindh Madressah.

Javed Ashraf Kazi, federal education minister would be the chief guest at concluding session of the celebrations on Sept 15.

Javed Ashraf Kazi would also inaugurate the newly established computer lab at Girls Section of Sindh Madressah.—PPI
