TOBA TEK SINGH, Sept 9: The district coordination officer and his driver sustained injuries when their vehicle overturned near Sindhilianwali on Saturday. DCO Nawazish Ali and his driver Haider were returning from Sindhilianwali to Toba Tek Singh. When they reached 20 kilometers from Pirmahal, one of the tyres of the official Pajero was burst as a result of which it overturned.

They were taken to the DHQ hospital. The DCO had his collarbone fractured. He was discharged after provision of first-aid. His driver was still under treatment in the hospital.

ARRESTED: The city police arrested seven people on Friday night on the charge of selling crackers and fireworks.
