PESHAWAR, Sept 8: Responding to a report about non-recognition of degrees of the students of the NWFP University of Engineering and Technology, Mardan campus, by the Pakistan Engineering Council, the UET has clarified that the accreditation of the departments is under process and the administration is working closely with the PEC.

In a press release issued here, UET Engineering Faculty Dean Dr M. Mansoor Khan said: “A new AC-1 Form is being submitted to the PEC to speed up the process.” He said the accreditation process was taking extra time because software and telecommunication were relatively new disciplines.
