KARACHI, Sept 8: Six ships carrying palm oil, containers and to load naphtha are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where six ships, Eric G. Gibson, MOL Asanto, United Prosperity, to unload and load containers, Rickmers Seoul, to unload and load general cargo and Al-Farabi, to offload chemicals and Marylisa-v, to offload coal were berthed.

Seven ships, Iran Tabatabaei, Hyundai Highway, Y.M. Sun, Eric G.Gibson, MOL Asanto, C. Duckling and Rickmers Seoul and Heng Fu departed, while Shalamar, Yong Sheng, Jade Trader, Central Park, United Properity, Lo Li and Al-Farabi are due to sail out on Saturday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 98,608 tons comprising 44,085 tons of export cargo including 1,319 tons of rice and 4,479 tons of cement and 54,523 tons of import cargo was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Rising One, with 3,000 tons of soyabean oil, Veracity, with 13,000 tons of palm oil, Diana, to load 30,000 tons of naphtha, Yang Jiang He, Kama Bhum and Thor Captain, with containers.
