RAJANPUR, Aug 27: A complete strike was observed in Rojhan tehsil to mourn the killing of Nawab Akbar Bugti on Sunday.
Rojhan is adjacent to Dera Bugti and Sui. Its culture is also quite similar to that of the Bugti-dominated area.
The shutdown call had been given by Sardar Dost Muhammad Khan Mazari and Sardar Kehan Khan Mazari. Local tribal leader Sardar Pervez Iqbal Khan Gorchani has already been in rangers’ custody for the last six weeks.
Meanhwile, the rangers’ presence in the area and along the border with Blochistan has been enhanced. — Correspondent
