Motorcyclist shot dead

SUKKUR, Aug 27: A motorcyclist was killed and two people were injured in an incident of firing in the Kandhkot area.

Motorcyclist Mohammad Yousuf Ogahi was on his way home when some armed persons opened fire on him near the cattle market.

Two passers-by Mengal Banglani and Ali Mohammad Ogahi received injuries in the firing. They were shifted to the Kandhkot civil hospital.

TWO KILLED: Two people were killed while another was injured in a road accident at the Garhi Khairo bypass near Jacobabad on Saturday morning.

Two schoolteachers Gulzar Ahmed Soomro and Abdul Rahim Soomro riding on a motorcycle were on way to school. When they reached the bypass, a pick-up hit their motorcycle, killing the two on the spot.—Correspondent
