QUETTA, Aug 25: Dr Syed Abdul Qadir Al-Gailani will be the successor of the late Pir Syed Zainuddin Al-Gailani. After the funeral of Pir Zainuddin, a gathering of followers and supporters of the Qadiriya descent held in Bibi Ziarat on Friday morning unanimously declared Syed Qadir as the successor of his father.

Syed Qadir, popularly known as Pirzada, thanked the participants and said that in his absence, his younger brother, Syed Ali Haidar Al-Gailani, would represent him.

On this occasion, a religious and spiritual personality of Afghanistan, Hazrat Syed Ishaq Al-Gailani, congratulated Pirzada for being selected as the successor of Pir Zainuddin.
