KARACHI, Aug 24: The following were Thursday’s commodity market rates in rupees.

Oilseeds

RAPESEED (per 40 kg): Dadulane 665 to 675; Mirpurlane 740 to 750; Nawabshah 770 to 780; Castorseed (Sindh) 650 to 725.

EDIBLE OILS (per 40 kg): Coconut oil 3,500 to 4,000; Rapeseed and Mustard oil 2,000 to 2,200; Ghee Vanaspati (per 16 kg) 820 to 960.

OIL SEED CAKES (per 50 kg) with bag: Cottonseed 640 to 650; Rapeseed and Mustard (40 kg) 325 to 330.

Cereals

Jowar (per 100 kg): 800 to 850; Maize 1,200 to 1,550.

BARLEY (per 100 kg): (Sindh) NA; Barley (Punjab) 1,075; Wheat Mexi Pak 1,060 to 1,065; Bajra 1,950 to 2,150; Maida (80 kg) 1,100 to 1,160; Suji 1,060 to 1,120; Atta 960 to 1,000.

RICE (per 100 kg): 386 Basmati 1,800 to 1,950; Basmati Whole 3,800 to 3,400; Basmati 385 Saila 2,100 to 2,200; Basmati Broken 1,400 to 1,800; Basmati Super 2,250 to 3,500; Irri-6 Sindh 1,265 to 1,270; Irri-9 Sindh 1,400 to 1,500.
