ISLAMABAD, Aug 23: Federal Interior Minister Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao on Wednesday reaffirmed support to war against terror and said that a peaceful Afghanistan was in Pakistan best interest.

Talking to a UN delegation headed by special representative of the UN Secretary General for Afghanistan, Thomas Koeings, he said Pakistan was actively participating in the reconstruction of Afghanistan, and out of the pledged amount, “we have successfully utilised over $100 million for important projects”.

In a statement, the minister said that Pakistan fully supported UN and would spare no effort to facilitate it. He said Pakistan was training the judicial and police officers of Afghan government and had so far trained over 200 officers in various fields.
