Too many cooks spoil the broth

KASUR, Aug 17: It is not clear who is going to make arrangements for the Bulley Shah Urs - whether the rival PML camps, district and tehsil administration having ARD backing or the bureaucracy patronised by the Punjab government.

Four parallel committees have been set up to manage the event which is scheduled to begin on Aug 26.

The show has once again brought to the limelight differences between the PML ahead of the next general elections. Khai group, which has the support of Pervaiz Elahi, and rival Kasuri group have established separate management committees.

The district management has ignored the district and tehsil nazims who are from the ARD and has not mentioned them in the pamphlets published on behalf of the administration.

This situation annoyed district nazim Rana Muhammad Hayat who called an emergency meeting of his group and got published own pamphlets besides establishing a management committee.
