LONDON, Aug 15: Pakistan cricket team coach Bob Woolmer has backed struggling wicketkeeper/batsman Kamran Akmal to rediscover his best form in fourth Test against England starting Thursday at The Oval.

Kamran has taken just nine catches and scored only 86 runs during the first three Tests against England, but Woolmer believes he is too talented a player to struggle for long.

“Kamran is best wicket-keeper/batsman we've got by a mile. He's had an unfortunate tour, but there were signs in England's second innings at Headingley that he's really coming back into his own,” Woolmer told Daily Telegraph.

“It's just a question of relaxing. A couple of local wicket-keepers have spoken to him about keeping in English conditions.”—Agencies
