SARGODHA, Aug 15: An armyman committed suicide after throwing his three children in Shahpur branch canal within the jurisdiction of the Bhera police, some 65km from here, on Monday.
Aslam told the police that his brother, Sajjad Shah, following a dispute with his wife, threw his two minor daughters and a son into the canal and thereafter committed suicide by jumping into the canal.
The bodies of the man and the children were recovered from the canal. Meanwhile, three-year old Irfan of Manwais village drowned in a pond on Tuesday.
